I have been rich and I have been poor. I have been blinded and I have seen. I have traveled the wonders of the world. I have seen pain and destruction. I have seen the hurt on people’s faces. I have seen people losing hope, when they have given up on themselves. I have seen struggles and conflict. I have heard your prayers and I have given you answers.
I look in your eyes and see the happiness in you, the smile on your face, and feeling the peace as my lips touch your lips, making the connection of our love.
My heart has gone to sleep. I can't hide the feeling that it has gone somewhere, beneath the shadow of my heart. I find myself being restless as the shadow continues to walk away, losing the hope of finding my heart that is still sleeping.
